Plus size porblems?

K, here is the history of my problem. My steering wheel would shake like crazy when I got up to high speeds. This was about a month ago. So, I got the alligntment fixed and the problems was fine. Now, I put some 17's on there and the problem is back. I am guessing it is the allignment again but when my friend put on 18's, he had no problem. And insight would help. I dont know if this makes a difference, but I dont have power sterring and he does. Let me know what you think.

maybe the wheels arent on tight enough. maybe the tires arent balanced

your tires may need to be balanced, also with 17's your going to notice a lot more road noise and feel every goddamn ant you run over. putting on larger wheels should not effect your alignment.
