I bought a header for my 95 integra. It was for a DA, but it was a brand name, Greddy for 100 bucks. Drove around with it only prob is that it look like shit. So took it off and decided to sand it down, first time I did some thing like that so it came out decent.
Ha now I can probley sell it for 125 bucks and turn a profit lol

Here is the before, shitty brown (cant see the greddy stamp)

you should have gotten a metal polishing kit. you might have been able to clean it up even more. looks better though.

Mmmm...bling bling baby.

I just hid mine w/ black header wrap...but then I have fetish for black....

if you haven't i'd take some 1500 grit to it then some wadding polish .. bling bling

Thanks I might try that. I stoped at 1000 grit.

I havent re-installed my header yet, so might as well try it. but then again im lazy:p. Surprised i sat down and did this in the first place

Yeah, ideally get some metal polish and a drill buffer. I helped a kid polish some fat-5's the same way and a drill polisher makes things go 500x faster.

it's a header!
why go through the trouble?
might as well get it chromed if you want the shiny look.

it will get dirty fast.
