A while ago I had to make a pretty abrupt e-brake turn, and since then when, lets say, traveling in reverse out of a parking space i hear a "pop" noise - or a couple of them - not too loud, not too soft. I have drum brakes in the back. I'm thinking somethings is loose but i am not sure - any thoughts?

Well, not to sound like a smart ass but, I would take off the brake drums and inspect. I have had springs and or the clips that hold the shoes on brake on me. That would be my guess.

I had a simular problem, I had to do an abrupt stop and pulled the e-brake, shortly after I developed that damn popping noise. turns out the rear drums became slightly out of round, I had to resurface the drums and replace the shoes. No popping noise since.
