popped airbag

quick question. when both air bags pop can you just replace the bag or do you need the module? and can you run one with out the other?

You should be able to just replace the bags. Only replacing one bag might give you a SRS light and possibly cause the functional bag not to deploy.

thats what i was thinkin but my sis with a 92 lude si said when hers popped she needed a module but i was thinkin that was just cuz it a lude. but if any one knows lmk

not sure on the module, but there is an article in the refrence/read only section here on how to reset the srs light

I would replace it. Its there to save your life, and that can only work if theres a working air bag in there...
In most states its a law you have to replace it, if it gets deployed, and you want to drive the car again.
