It took me at most 8 minutes to impute all of my collection. Guzzlefish allows you to search DVD's by UPC code...therefore all I did was type in numbers.

Secondly, It is a useful tool especially when things have disappeared from my room as well as in case of fire for insurance purposes.
 
Personally, I only have around 20 that I actually keep in my living room. Those are the movies I couldn't do without - Full Metal Jacket, Clerks, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, Friday, Next Friday, Saving Private Ryan, etc. etc. As for my collection, I really don't need many since my brother owns a video store about 5 minutes from my house. Can y'all say "screeners"! He gets screeners ( pre releases for owners- they come on dvd and ship between 30-90 days prior to the actual release date). Plus lately he's run out of room so I've been storing his movies in my spare room. Right now, there's about 150 dvd's stored at my place. But ya got to look at it like this- would you want to admit that you had "Steel Magnolias" at your place? :lol:
