until the government can figure out a way to make billions on this, it will be forever until we see this technology..even though it's probably and secretly already avaiable

Flexible graphene transistor sets new records - physicsworld.com

Also it is being pioneered into semiconductors. We are moving to smaller and smaller processes (nodes) and have almost reached our limit with our current production methods. Meaning, cant get any smaller without introducing negative byproducts such as excess heat, leakages and so forth.

Anyway, I doubt the government has anything to do with it. It just takes time and billions to research this kind of stuff. Once it is mature, private companies will surely try monopolize.

"In 2008, graphene produced by exfoliation was one of the most expensive materials on Earth, with a sample that can be placed at the cross section of a human hair costing more than $1,000 as of April 2008 (about $100,000,000/cm2).[14] Since then, exfoliation procedures have been scaled up, and now companies sell graphene in large quantities.[21][22] On the other hand, the price of epitaxial graphene on SiC is dominated by the substrate price, which is approximately $100/cm2 as of 2009. Even cheaper graphene has been produced by transfer from nickel by Korean researchers,[23] with wafer sizes up to 30 inches (760 mm) reported.[24]"

This Could Kill the Battery Industry

Dear 5 Reader,

In 30 minutes, using only a liquid material and a common DVD burner, two scientists at UCLA made a discovery that could displace the whole, $50 billion battery industry.

It's being called “The (Super) Supercapacitor” and it was as easy to create as a home movie.

It powered a light bulb for over five minutes after charging for only three seconds. That means they could have powered it for the whole day after charging it less than 15 minutes!

The potential for a technology this groundbreaking and easy to create is limited only by imagination.

It could revive solar panel and electric car technologies that have been declared all but dead.

It could potentially power your phone and tablet all day by charging them for only minutes!

Put simply, this could revolutionize the way we power the world around us.

This technology depends totally on one key material. Forward-thinking readers who act could see returns similar to those of past recommendations that could have earned you a cumulative 568% in less than 5 years!

The details of what this material is and how you could profit from it are included in this brief video.

Cheers,

Dave Gonigam

P.S. The news of these two scientists and their revolutionary use of this material is less than a month old. Watch this brief video to learn about what made it possible and how you could take advantage of similar recommendations that could have earned you cumulative 568% in less than 5 years!

That was a great video. You could really hear the passion in their voices. I love their complete hack way of making it too.

This stuff is truly awesome. While you're all at it - Look at how easy it is to make carbon nanotubes (Buckminster forms too)

Unless they already have them in a covert form of a everyday lithium battery.
