im pretty sure the h22 will bolt up to the h23 auto tranny but it would be nice if someone would back that up for me or tell me im a moron and that it wont work before i order the motor.. its going in a 94 lude si that has a shot bottom end in the h23. same question goes for the f22b4 in my 2.2 cl auto, will h22 bolt up there also?? thanks guys.

I disagree, the tranny will hold up for a while. I beat the shit out of mine daily, have about 5000 miles on my F22 tranny. This untouched original tranny has over 220,000 miles. I would, however suggest you get a H22 tranny, for the shorter gearing, better utilization of top end power.

have you ever taken an auto h23 tranny to 8k rpms? :D trust me. they don't last very long.

There are no dumb questions... just dumb people! j/k...

Will it bolt up? Yes.
Will it withstand the test of time? Probably.
Would I chance it? No.
