problem with my axles

ok i have a 90 crx dx with a b16a in it. got it all in and started to put the axles in and the hubs wont turn after i tighten the nut down. the axles came the motor. everthing fits fine the hub just wont turn. anybody got any suggestions?

Did they turn before you tightened the nut? Sounds like your bearing is shot. Put the tranny in neutral and see if that helps.

on the outer CV joint where it goes into the hub, there is a hard rubber ring dust seal on the CV joint - you need to remove it - pops right off

sounds like you got a G2 integra swap......you ll have to do what was stated above. or buy the raxles axles.

That is good to know, I never really thought about those things. So I am guessing you didn't swap the entire hub assembly from a g2 teg. The brakes on the crx's are tiny.

thanks for the help. i popped it of but i also had to pop off the metal ring on the hub.
