I have a 88 civic with a b16. I bought AEM Short Ram Intake. There are two problems: A the battery is in the way & B the mounts on the intake will not mount on the firewall or anything near. For problem A, I’m just going to relocate the battery in the trunk. For problem B, I think I’m going to manufacture a piece of metal to reinforce the intake by mounting the bracket on the firewall or somewhere around. What is the best thing to do for the intake? Any Ideas?
