OK guys/gals, this is going to be my official Build thread, but first an introduction!

Because I like to do things a little different then the rest of the world, Im gonna stick with this engine since its really only going to be a DD/auto-x ride anyway and maybe even a little ice racing in the winter. Hopefully this will fuel the fire for my automotive needs throughout the winter though.

So here it is... my $250 1986 CR-X dubbed C ReX!

Future plans for this beast include the following...

Engine: Complete tune up, cam/adjustable cam gear, head work (mill .15 off head/P&P)

Suspension: thinking tokico blues all the way around, sway bars, cut springs, rear airbags.

Apearance: Id like to fix the one rust spot later down the road, wheels/tires, tint, paint, 84-87 si spoiler

why would you cut the springs if you're going to autox?

Because then I'd be just like everybody else, I've got a 10 sec grand national I'll drive if I want to go fast.

it doesn't have springs in the front (torsion bars)
-and if you're planning on bags in the rear it won't have any back there either




also, if you want the 86-87 Si spoiler you need the whole hatch...it bolts through the back

-I'd go for the 85 Si one

Thanks for the info but when I said bags I meant drag bags, they go inside of your rear springs. But, I don't think I'm gonna be needing them.
