aight here it is...ive decided on the ls motor swap for my 97 civic dx. i figure to spend about 1500 to 2000 bucks and just want the basics to start with. i know of a few local places to get the motor/tranny but they are a bit spendy, so any shops to order from within a decent driving distance would be nice. im not starting this until after xmas so i have time to save up some cash. i plan on doin this all my self just because i think thats how it needs to be...so any info (web sites, shops, books, etc) is welcomed. so projekt civic LS is on its way. }=)

i spent less than 1500 on my ls swap, did it myself and c-speedracing.com has a atep by step installaion guide for a b18c, so its basically the same minus the vtec.

I did an ls swap in my 92 hatch. i work in a salvage yard so i could get you what you need if your interested, let me know.

redhatch, how much for a b18b1 (shortblock) and/or a b16/b18c head.
