just got my project car, 92' Si hatch, and have been looking for a while at swaps that are possible. It seems that most B16 and B18 engines are for the most part bolt ins, but is there any pros or cons to each as in modding them? I'm looking to get around 220-250 hp on a mild turbo setup, what are good ways to go reach this goal?

lol, i know its low but i want reliable, how much could i get out of a b18b, b18c, b16 and still be reliable?? The stock engine is out of the question, it has 220,000 with no tranny so i figured rebuilding that would be about as much as doing a swap.

Would it be better to get a b18b with a b16 tranny?

that's another thing, if i were to go b18b/T is there a recommended tranny for this?
