pulling glass

does any one know any tricks to pulling the quater window and the rear glass in a 95 honda prelude? I tried with my parts car and the window shattered. Is there a trick or do you just have to cut the silicon with a razor blade?

i don't know of any trick but i'm in for the read if someone else has one. i ended up shattering one of my rear quarter windows too (crx) though admittedly the window was under some serious stress due to body damage; the other one made it out safely (with razorblade to the seal).

cut around it first with a razor then get some thin guitar string and push it through the silicone then just use it like a saw

one more thing make sure its the thin wire string not the plastic lol
