Im going to purchase an 00-02 and im unsure on what engine i should get... V6 or V4... What are the differences?? gas milage?? performance? overal?
what would be the best election?
 
okay, first of all, there is no "V4." there is an inline 4, and a V6. the 4 cylinder will get better gas mileage than the V6. also, you can get either a manual transmission or an automatic with the 4 cylinder, whereas the V6's from 2000-2002 only have automatic transmissions. the V6's are slightly faster than the 4's. the 4 cylinder models weigh about 200 to 275 lbs less than the V6's depending on trim level and model. if you're looking to modify the car, there are more aftermarket parts available for the 4 cylinder models. in the end, it comes down to personal preference. test drive one of each, then decide from there.
