Pushing oil out new gasket

    I just replaced a gasket on the VTEC switch. I fixed the problem but it was only fixed for a day and then I found out that I was still pushing oil out this gasket. I have 12.5:1 CR and not sure if that is the problem. What could be done to fix this problem if there is a fix to it so it will stop leaking oil out that gasket.:(

    did you use any sealant besides the gasket?

    I did on the last one and it clogged my filter there for getting a check light and a non working VTEC

    use less sealant... hondabond?

    make sure both surfaces are really clean(i use brakleen or carb cleaner)and make sure to tighten the bolts to spec

    Hey, maybe you are using slightly wrong gasket for vtec solenoid -
    for example b16a Sir1 engine needs gasket off 90-91 NSX.
    Search the forum for those keywords for the part #
