Quaife LSD in JDM tranny?

Local shop told me that since my GSR tranny already came with a stock LSD being JDM the quaife LSD wouldnt fit on the ring gear bolts, which is doesnt. They said I should get a USDM final drive from a GSR tranny and then the ring gear bolts will match up is this true?

Just because your tranny is 'JDM' doesn't mean it came with LSD...

Yeah I didn't mean for it to sound like that but mine came with one

i thought only ITR and CTR had factory lsd?

Its optional on those and the GSR's in japan

I thought maybe I had a B16 tranny or something so I sent the GSR Quaife back and they sent me a B16 one, that one didn't fit either.
