Thanks for taking the time guys.

I drive & modify a couple old audis... Pre much of today's technology including EFI (unitil I put it on, anyway) There is a civic around town, dick kid, daddybought him his car, (already with FI) who's been spouting off about low 12 second 1/4 times with his car.

...Im asking you guys whether you think its a realistic time or not. I have no doubt he's repeating what's been told to him. What I do know:

B16
T3/T04 Hybrid
FMIC, Internals strong enough to run 21 psi

Are these figures enough to run a claimed low 12 second with street tires? I figure a burn through the first two gears, a quick post- 60 foot time, and probably mid thirteens... but Im asking, cause I dont know. What do you guys think?

hmmm...i dunno...maybe high 12 if hes got like 9.5:1 pistons, but i really couldnt tell you in that gen.

its possible though.

There's a ton of variables that could affect his 1/4 mile time... but as far as if it's possible, considering the vague description that you have, yes. Definitely possible.

Do you really have the 2.2 RS2 motor?

Can I have it, along with the standalone?

Lol

My EG hatch was defenitly a mid 13 on 10#'s with a 60/48.

It's very possible that an b16-T SI could run 12's, with slicks.
