if i put in ITR motor in my 95 hatch, would it be a waste to change stuff like putting on a jun head or other mods. what would be smart to change and what should i leave alone? or should i buy a gsr and change everything. which would be more cost efficient, the ITR or gsr and upgrading it?
 
the B18C5 can take just as many mods as any other engine
the only difference is that it is farther down the road of tuning from the start so you dont NEED as much shit

there are plenty of mods for the ITR engine that have very nice gains but some of the less agressive mods will not have much of a gain if any at all
 
what kinds of mods would be smart though? i have heard of people putting all sorts of ITR stuff in there gsr motors and CTR stuff in b16s. so what are the good upgrades? other than I/H/E. i am guessing fuel system and ignition, but what else?
 
the fuel system and ignition are already better than you need (untill your much more modded)
get some cams (toda B or C are great) and do the valve train when you do this
get a light weight flywheel
you can still go with a larger bore and higher compression pistons
you can still get a better PnP and valve job
larger TB
better flowing IM
or ITBs
there is lots of stuff out there
