i have two questions.
is it ok to mix different brands of ATF?
i have a few quarts of castrol ATF in my transmission right now, and my friend just gave me two quarts of honda ATF. is it ok to mix them?
my second question, since i replaced my transmission, when i shift from park to drive, reverse to drive, reverse to park ect.. its really tough to push and pull the shifter back and forth and when i put it in gear it never sits exactly where its supposed to. like, itll be a little bit above where its supposed to be positioned/where it used to position itself when id put it in gear. the cable isnt restricted by anything.
i think it might be because i installed the cable in the transmission flipped 180*, not purposely of course. it was just such a pain in the dick to get that mother fucker in there right that i didnt really pay attention to which way it was supposed to go in.
could that be why it shifts so hard? what else could it be?
