quick question on tranny swap

I have a 96 accord (obd2) that has a h22 swap (obd1) with auto tranny. I want to do a 5-speed conversion. If I get a 97 h22 tranny will it work right? What would be the diffrerence between a obd1 to an obd2 tranny for my swap? Thanks

I don't think transmissions matter in regards to OBD1 or OBDII

as far as i know the only thing that could matter would be any electrical snesors in the trans such as the reverse light switch/sensor...

but i don;t think they changed the plug style, but not sure...

yeah, I'm pretty sure it's ok but, I wanted to confirm it. Anyone else?

It will work fine the only thing that you need is an OBD2a (96-98) VSS (vechicle speed sensor) for a five speed trans

What does a VSS do?

Did you get the JDM H22 TCU? I still haven't gotten one for my swap.
