Radiator Fan

I just got a 95 GSR and ive been driving it for alittle while now and i have never seen the radiator fans on... the temp gaudge doesnt go over half way but i was wondering if they are supposed to go on?? or is something wrong ?? is there a way to test if they work??

pull the 2 wire connector off the thermostat housing and jump them with a paperclip. if they turn on they are working, if not the switch is bad...

chances are your thermostat is not opening enough to turn them on, that's what happened to mine.
