my friend put a sir2 in his 94 ex and the radiator hoses would not fit. he bought waht looked close but was not the right one the opening was to big and when he tighened them down they leaked. what bottom hose does he need? also even when there is fluid in the raditor the temp gauge goes all the way up and there is no heat at all. could it be the thermostat?

Sounds like a clogged heater core...

Sounds like you have an air pocket in cooling system, or you don't have enough coolant in the system. I used 99-00 civic si hoses in my 93 with a b16. Hope this helps.

If your using the civic radaitor, you need to get the del sol VTEC hoses. They have a b series inlet on the motor side, and the d-series/civic radaitor inlets on the other side.
