You would definitely feel it. As far as calculating the HP numbers theres this great Hp calculator called a dyno.

Sure it does, if it's a JDM B16A

not sure on how much horse you will get but here's stock specs...
note that these motors have more diffrence than just compression ratio, but its just to show you the increases...

158@7600 112@7000 10.2:1

168@7800 116@7300 10.4:1

185@8200 118@7500 10.8:1

like i said, more diffrent than just compression increases, check the refrence section to see what these motors came out of...

I, nor anyone else here can tell you the exact hp but i can tell you there will be increases... i took a stock ls b18a1 and put jdm ITR pistons in my shit yeilding about 11:1 ratio, the stock was 9.1:1. This 2 point increase netted me considerable hp and tq... i have not tuned my shit yet im running stock PR4 ecu. so to answer all your questions.... you can run a stock ecu.... and you will net noticable HP.... more than just adding header, and an intake...

good luck

well he said stock .. i dont consider motor swaps stock ... yes a jdm b16 has 10.4 and usdm 10.2 (a stock b16)

Yes, but this is Hondaswap.com.

Get it tuned, and you should have a good increase, you'll feel it in your pants. :)

stock euro b16 now, i swaped out my old d16z engine.
but i was to late to buy the pistons so i have to se if i got the money to buy a set of new high comp pistons. i have a DC sports 4-2-1 header, p28 ecu, vafc2 and working on a home made ITB setup so a set of high comp pistons with some ITR cams would be a good fun for the summer...

but as far as tuning is vafc my choice :(

itb's with ITR cams? holy mis-match batman.

unless you're running stage 4's with a full head work package, itb's are a waste.
