Raising Factory Seats

    I live in Portsmouth, VA
    I have a 93 del sol. The car comes with bucket style seats that are pretty much bolted sta=raight to the floorboard. how would i go about fabing the seat frame to accomidate some more height. in simple terms what do i do to raise the seat up from factory height.

    get longer bolts and/or cutout thick metal squares and drill holes in them that the bolts can fit through. make metal shims.

    look on ebay for sparco brackets and sliders, will cost about 50-100 for a pair and will serve you in two ways. First they will lift the sits to near a stock height, and second they will be adjustable again.

    ok. i like the idea about the blocks. many of my friends have mentioned that idea. i have plenty of scrap blocks at my work. i'll try that and see how it goes. Thank you
