ran 14.225@96.956

reaction:406
I1:2.016
I2:5.898
I3: 9.169
MPH I3: 75.128

91 std.
car makes around 185-190hp b16 at flywheel. has both front seats. no back panels seats, tire. The motor is stock. No header, intake on the throttle body. obd2a ecu redline 8200 was suppose to be set 8900-9100rpm was having problems with vafc.
ohh ran on some kuhmo 185/65/r15 street tires 20-25psi. Had about 25lbs of stuff in the car tools camera etc.

I think I can do about 13.8 stock tires maybe better with the correct ecu so I can gain some speed.

what u guys think..? :D
and yes I am slow :worthy:

9.1s in the 1/8th aren't half bad for an NA B16. I'm thinking thats somewehre in the low 14s...

PS get some better tires.

Sweet man, I am glad to see you still have the car. With practice on that B16B you will get better times. So you finally got the OBD2 ecu working too? Sweet!

I made 151 at the wheels on my b16a. that's aobut 180-185 for those un-math-inclined.... What's so hot about a b16b again?

umm the car was not running right at the track it was 8200 was redline was suppose to be set around 9000-9100rpm.

yea the obd2 ecu now I was messing with the vtec controller I think I fucked up the settings. With a little practice I think I should be able to hit 13.9 :).

If youre losing 30 some hp to the drivetrain, you really need to check your drivetrain...

15-16% drivetrain loss is about average, bub.

wouldn't a 406 be redlighted? Even still thats a average b16 run. I ran a 13.8 at 98 on anzies really really really shitty suspension did I think 2.2 60ft.

I think the time doesn't start anyways till the car rolls past the maker? I don't really know anymore. Haven't been to BMP in a long time.

Why the hell would you raise your redline higher than you make power. Correct me if i am wrong but dont b16b's make power only up to 8200? So if you raise your redline up to like 9 grand you will be over reving your engine and possibly doing damage to it by reving so high on a stock motor.

I am going to correct you your wrong :p

damn didn't know this was a b16b. How many runs did you make? Been to the track much?

I had a freind cory drive my car after I just ran a 12.8 in a mild modded crx lsvtec and he got in a drove a 12.6. I would he ran that shitty time from being unexperinced. I don't know but shouldn't a ctr motor in a 91 hatch be alot faster then a high thirteen second car?
