you could use an ls crank and "stroke it" cause getting it stroked is always better. and with all the crap you are talking about you could go into the 700+ range but you might want to get some race bearings! you might as well go 84 bore its not that much more.

are you saying that you are going to have a 2 1/2 exhaust on the car?
and why would you keep the oem flywheel/ why not go with a 12 lb or lighter, do you have LSD?
what about the head you are gonna have all this bottom end and then drop a valve and it want be worth anything..

Actually, large bore short stroke seems like a far better option.
