Gerudo Valley. I'm not a brass person so I forced myself to do this song in order to use brass in ways I normally wouldn't use it just to get the experience.

Recorded it using a Yamaha Motif keyboard, Sonar X1 and EastWest samples.

Sounded great. how long does it take to sample something like that?

Depends on me. If I'm in the mood and get on a roll not too long at all. Hardest part is playing the original, trying to figure out what sounds they used, then trying to match the sounds to what I have.

I used 20 different instruments for that song.

Rough guess, 30-60seconds an hour for something like this.

faster if in the mood, much much slower if not in the mood.

Sounds really great dude. ^_^ I like playing parts of the the Zelda songs on guitar.
I'd like to hear some more of your works.

Always. Always. Always loved the ffvii sound track. I can picture every sequence of the game where the song occurs. The music in that game is so descrpitive.

I don't have access to a high end recording studio with a full concert hall to record cellos 1st violins 2nd violins, bass... and so on lol.

I load up a sample and it maps out onto my keyboard then I hit record on my DAW and play the keyboard recording the sampled sounds.

All of it was played using a keyboard, no prerecorded rifts or runs.

this makes me feel like i want to go on an epic quest somewhere...lol.

sounds good Jeff!
