Redlining @ 3500rpms..Need help Fast...

Car starts up and drives but when it gets to 3500rpm it acts like revs like redlining and cant go further. P28 ecu, D15 Block, P08 Head, Y8 IM, Dizzy td42u.
 
uhh timing maybe? I havn't heard of it acting like its redlining early...umm...I dunno..why to you have a P08 head? wtf is that lol...

hmm I don't really know I mean limp mode could mean fuel shortage...but what is it doing is it just like not having any power after 3500 or does it feel like the engine is tearing apart...if its just like almost dieing then its not redlineing..maybe some of the other guys on here can help you out more then me I havn't experienced this problem yet so I don't really know how to solve it

no its not dieing, its redlining. I have a 1 code now and all it does it blink 1 time for 2 seconds and keeps repeating.

Try unpluging the VTEC solenoid. I had an accord at work do that.

If its blinking for 2 seconds and repeating it might be a code 10 instead of a code 1. Not complete sure what to do there though

just though of this
Reset your ECU and see if it does it.

Pull the hazard Fuse in the Egnine bay fuse box for 10 seconds, with the car off. Its a 10amp fuse.
 
Exact same thing happened to a friend of mine.. He changed out the ECU and everything was golden after that...

Might be worth a try.
 
check the ECU, or the distributor.

this happened to me, but i barely got it home... took off the cap and rotor to find nice metallic shavings all over, and about one tooth left.

My car was doing the same thing until I put an O2 sensor in it. maybe thats bad.
