jeesus christ wil.........
owned to the 2407934856394865984645923876-9383673b power.

wow......so glad i come across this..........

not.

allow me to introduce myself, my name is shoob, and im the owner of the car. i wanna set some facts straight that i believe have been mis-represented to begin with.

1. Dilbeck , you are not my brother.

2. i have never lived with you. you have however lived with me, as a room mate, paying rent for a room.

3. you never drove this car on a daily basis.......ever.

4.that is not your shop, and you have never worked there. That shop is Garage Zero in ATL. GA, where for reasons like this your not welcomed by its staff or owners.

now that that part is out of the way, lemme put a few things out there. the car was not on a mag cover because it belongs there. it was put there in plain context by the editor to prove a point. in the article, he speaks about this point and several others. take the time to read, and you will understand. S3 is not an e-zine. its actually the fastest growing import magazine on the east coast and south east region.

anyway.....

dilbeck, you deserve to have your balls busted on here. period.

the purpose of this car, and always has been in the beginning when it started out as a clean "ZENKI" (wrong again dilbeck) gts coupe, was for my broke ass to build a car on a budget that would drift in local comp, right next to the big sponsored cars, without issues.

YES, EBAY ITEMS INTENTIONAL.

meaning, in this particular car, that cost me $3200 from purchase price to what you seen in the mag, swapped, aero, ect. was having zero issues stealing the lime lite from $30k sponsored shop cars making double the power, in local grassroots drift events.

it was never meant to be "baller", or "JDm TytE yO" as it seems to be tried to made out to be, by the OP.

Wil, i like you, your my kinda guy. this car is shit, in the most simple aspect of the word, and i as the owner am 100 agreeing with you.

where to start.......

my hate all you want thread ? my brothers ae86 coupe that got 0 love, and countless pages of hate, well, not only magazine cover car for s3, but full article on it, soo when everyone here starts building magazine cars, then hate on our shit

Viva Hood | S3MAG.COM

was never meant to be on the cover, and ive covered the "brother" thing.

Fix your fucking hood and fenders for gods sake.

story for that. yeah, see that itty bitty civic half radiator, while it had a nice 3200 cfm slim line pro fan on it, it still wasnt enough to keep under hood temps in check when the car was sideways, hence, vent the hood. as for the fenders, ill get to that too.

remember when.....well built cars made magazine covers??
167107_122365241166475_4277730_n.jpg

not just some car with ridiculous offset wheels, and stretcched to shit tires.i know plenty of people that have made magazine covers.really its only impressive if the car was properly built.

and that was Jonathon Wooley's point in the article.

anyone elses car here made the cover ? didnt think soo

Its not there for the reasons you posted. its there because it started making noise in the ATL drift scene built with bottom shelf chinese parts, and absolute penny's on the dollar.

its my brothers car, my brother lives with me, I literally have just as much work into it as he does, I drive the car just as much as he does, built it from a bone stock kouki gts

every element of this sentence is utter bullshit.....like knee deep. tis' a zenki, btw.

who the fuck is S3? lololol. try getting in a real magazine next time. not just some local internet magazine.

remember when... cars built on ebay parts DIDNT make articles?

car still looks like shit
most likely rides like shit (BCs are junk, sorry you didnt get the memo)
horrible tire stretch makes it useless for anything (even borderline unsafe) other than parking lot cruising

you are everything that is wrong with the current tuner generation

thank you, johnny ricer he has proved himself to be in this particular thread. the BC's were free for the magazine shoot, from BC. i was happy on cut springs honestly. this cars sole point was to slide......thats it.

as for the tire stretch, funny story, you know how i said this car was something built on a budget for my broke ass to slide? well, i had a nice set of 13x8 hammers, wrapped in 165-55 westlake cheap ass rubber, before i swapped the car. after the swap, it was sketchy, and dangerous to say the least, breaking loose at 55 mph un intentionally was not my aim, considering i daily drove this car 88 miles round trip. needless to say i wrode them out, what can i say, i was a broke ass. so i had another set of wheels i ran on the car, and needed money. HD wheels RSB. 13x7, and had sumitomo 186-60's on them. i ended up selling those and keeping the tires. i bought the 13x10's a while back with hoosier 21.00 on them, with the intensions of running them on road atlanta. sold the tires for $100, so now i have these 13x10's, and these sumitomo 185-60's. i needed to get to work monday.........shit happened and it worked.

so back to the previous comment on the fenders.....well, i bolted the wheels onto the the car, and low and behold, shit didnt fit. so, out came the ziz wheel, and out came the fenders. this should tell you the zero fucks given aspect of the car. you see those "fender flairs" in the rear of the car in the magazine photos? yeah, those are strips of floor moulding, to hide the tread under so johnny law wouldnt hassle me. again, zero fucks given.

and this was part of the editors point on the angel of the car.

i dont see why everyones hating, it looks lie a fun car to fuck around in, especially if it has some balls, whoo cares what it looks like. to me it has that " i dont give a fuck look" which i like

yes, was very fun.

say what you want lol I love how nobody noticed out mass amount of oldschool cars in my work parking lot lol

neegro, you worked at kroger as a stocker when i had this car, this is my shop where i worked.

Probably because it looks like you took that picture in a junk yard.

yes, Garage zero does not deal with anything new, anything passed the 80's really. while half of those cars did eventually end up in the crusher, they were engine-less plat forms that eentually had 2j's and the likes dropped into them, and drove around. the blue van, has a 5.3l vortec in it. the corona wagon, a lexus 1uz v8, and so on, not cars for show, not cars that were meant to impress but cars to drop engines into to have fun, and run into walls. after all, garage zero did start in a junk yard.

lets run through your parts list of "top name parts"

so other than the engine, which seems to be this rolling pile's only semi-redeeming quality, where are all the top name parts? a few cusco products here, a few brembo products there, but overwhelmingly cheap knockoff and ebay parts and shoddy attempts at body work (or do you prefer "customization"? LOLOL) and cut corners that look like shit.

how delusional are you?

the only top parts i put in this car was the cusco rear end and trd r&p, simply for the reliability aspect, the rest were pretty much attained, because it was the cheapest at the time of shopping.

well coupe as it sits not, getting professionally vinyl wrapped through bc racing and S3 magazine
468473_461211197226642_1411649632_o.jpg

damn, i owned the car, and missed this.......

and our ebay steering wheel was fine, used it for over a year no probs, and now its got a legit jdm personal steering wheel
421248_371055049575591_1476911741_n.jpg

our, us? dude, seriously, my ebay wheel was only in there maybe a year, and i never quite liked it, as the only driver/builder/slider, etc.

and teaser, but side twincharged build, soo keet hating, idgaf, im not bragging about shit, but who here is twincharged ?
378923_363138680367228_1767905481_n.jpg

apparently , no one, not even me.

my nephews power wheels has more character than majority of yalls rides
459650_428759090471853_1124554362_o.jpg

my sons power wheels, is a rattle canned lowered jeep.......

i dont see anything twin charged. i see an engine sitting on the floor.

hey everybody look. a little kid with a mohawk. HOW ORIGINAL. IVE LITERALLY NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE!

he picked it out, he rocks it.

lol

I bet if you had this car, gsrcrxsi had his wrx, and I had my truck in a parking lot that gsrcrxsi and I would get more compliments than you would on this car. I get compliments on my rcsb truck all the time and all I did is drop the ass end 2"s and put a nice set of polished aluminum 20s on it.

your right, the only time this car was loed on, was either when fanboys attacked, or it was doin business, something mr. dilbeck has never witnessed..... well the drift/track part anyway.

the sc14 supercharger thats currently on the car would be coming off and going on this when its ready to drop in, hints twincharged

that engine was never meant for my car, period, it came out of a car i built in the early 2000's, and was being tore down, and inspected before going into my friend richards ae86, gts. minus the s/c. so it still was not twincharged, anything this time around.

actually that 86 is pretty much bone stock with dead coils cut out of the springs, the wheels, kit, weight reduced, I/H/E , he isnt even gze powered, just a healthy 4age

actually tsuchiya's 86 in that video is powered by a 20v blacktop with 288 cams, kei office underdrive pulleys, and on a full micro tech standalone and nissan COP's. as well as kei office coilovers, and a slew of battle version/kei office suspension components, 4:778 r&p, and trd 2-way lsd.

I assure you the car handles amazing

when have you ever had a chance to know how this car truly handles?

LOL I have more money in tuning for the Z VS what that car is worth as a whole.

OP, They make porn mags for people who love fat chicks. No matter how cool you may think it is I'd rather jerk off than to F a fat chick....

This thread almost begs for another round of neg repping So much fail has come from you outside of the GF pic thread. Her tits were nice.

you are probably correct, if you have over $3200 in tuning. as for the GF thread, please point me to this, gotta see this, probably mine too.

VS what? Everyone has a different idea of what good handling is and what fast is.

IMO unless its running below 13.0 its not fast, 12.0-12.99 = quick, 11s starts to get fast.... and unless its knocking off 1g in the skidpad it aint handling all that well.

13.140 actually. just puttin that out there. skid pad, lol. exactly that, that bitch was hittin it in a slide, it might have seen .08 g's on a good day with sticky tires.

ive had many a car, I know what good handling is, the car not only has no body roll, but 86's are very well balanced and has really no understeer or oversteer, very predictable , and show me where I said it was FAST ! , never have I said anything was fast, I might say its quick, peppy, or fun to drive, but never said it was fast, everyone needs to get off my case with the bs

then you would know, like half of these people, a car setup to slide does not handle good in any circumstances. this car was chock full of oversteer, everytime you hit a corner and tried to accelerate.

as for fast, lol. no. c'mon. 4:778 r&p, with 13" wheels? i can get to 100mph real quick, but thats all. whats fast? because up until i sold that car, not a single car you had could touch the coupe, except the white n/a ae86 hatch i built, that you bought from me, that your also using as your profile avatar on here, and it could only barely keep up on top end one the highway. the sad thing is, the coupe only dyno'd 200whp and 210 ft. lbs.

that 97hp fc rx7?
or the 2 minute rev to 10k rpm DA?
i know it wasnt the KA powered 240 that grenaded in my drieway.

when do I call anyone out ? very rarely once in a blue moon do I ever even comment on anyone elses threads, and 99.9% of the time its positive input on a swap

i hope this isnt a call out, because your kinda stuck with your dick in your hand on this one.

ive already neg repped. cant anymore, dont feel like going through other threads and giving other people rep just so i can neg him more. lol.

the car probably is decently quick with the 4agze. but i can guaranty it handles like poo. BCs are notorious for using cheap springs that are too stiff, have spring rate variances from advertised rate, and not having proper damping. 30 clicks of adjustment means absolutely dick when the range of adjustment is tiny, plus these are only rebound adjustable, not bound/bump. not that you know how to properly set these up anyway. you probably either left them at the factory setup or cranked them all the way up for that HELL-YEAH-SUPER-SAYIAN-HELLA-TIGHT-RACING-DOPE-SETUP!!!11!!!1! lol. they are nothing more than cheap Taiwanese coilovers with poor QC and bottom dollar internals. all the kiddies think they are k00l though cause they can afford the cheapest coilovers. if you insist on sticking with the BCs, at least send them to Odi over at Feal Suspension and get them revalved and setup with swift springs.

then top it off with your horrible wheel/tire setup. you really have no business running 10" wheels unless you are going to stuff 265+ meat under there. but that would likely be too much tire and just slow you down, get a proper sized wheel/tire, like a 15x7 or 15x8 with 205 or 225 width tires. it will look better, ride better, handle better, grip better.

couldnt agree more with this post....... the car slid exceptionally smooth, thats about it.

Id put good money it spanks your crx's ass

did yours.

Maybe in a straight line.. not around a track
Track built car > daily turd w/ some hp

it actually wasnt that bad, but i know how ff lightweight platforms perform as well.

Taken straight from the article on the car.

This quote seems like this is just what your doing. Raising yourself up because a car that you know, not one that YOU personally own, is in a magazine. It seems like you're saying that you're the shit now that your BROTHERS car was in a magazine.

lol, not even.

A lot of us on here like simplistic rides and rat rods, but yours are just ratty and lack character or originality. They're all trend whore mods but you seem to only pick the worst of trends.

I've taken junk yard parts and made custom components out of them, but when I do it I try to make it look factory or at least clean. You and your "crew" that work together at your "shop" just slap shit together and think it'll be cool and well received just because you're all ok with half assed shoddy "workmanship." That's like mounting up a set of otherwise decent wheels onto a car just because they have the right bolt pattern but not being mindful of its way out of acceptable range of offset and width. Oh wait, you guys do that too. And think its JDM y0! All da trailer park bitches love that shit!

unfortunatly, no trends to be found, just the cheapest methods, sadly, if you think about it. as for the shop, dilbeck has never worked there, never been part of any "crew", and that "shop" had nothing to do with the build of my car, just like dilbeck.

I think I'm qualified to handle this one.

Many of you follow my Facebook page and can verify the information I'm about to share with you.

For those who DON'T already know me, I'm Wil. I build and race superbikes, and I also build and repair high-end 'Exotic' cars. Granted, I've never built a raggedy old Corolla, but I feel like there's a reason for that.

Just to pull a few examples out of the air at random, I've fabricated the entire turbocharger system for a Porsche 996 911 that went just over 200mph in the Texas Mile. I built the fuel system and fabricated several other parts for a twin-turbo Lamborghini Gallardo. I've fabricated parts and systems for and built countless other Porsche 996's and 997's, some of which have topped the 1,000hp mark. I've built (and even restored) countless other Ferraris, Porsches, Mercedes, Bentleys, and Rolls Royces. I may have even made a thread here a while back about that. It's weird how, at the High-End Exotic level of car building, you don't see very many Corollas and 240's. Have you ever even TOUCHED a car that cost more than $50k?

Anyways, I feel like I'm more than qualified to voice my opinion on what 'is' or 'is not' a "Race Car" or "Badass Car"; likewise, I'm equally qualified to know what constitutes a "Heaping Bucket of Shit."

The Corolla previously posted in this thread is just that - a "Heaping Bucket of Shit". I'm curious what actual R&D went into building that car, or if someone woke up hungover in Mexico with too-narrow tires, a vinyl cutter, and a bucket of sheet metal roofing screws.

It does, allegedly, have a "Twin Charge" kit being put on, and I'll address this one in its own paragraph - there's a reason you don't see a whole lot of "Twin Charged" cars - that reason is because it's fucking retarded and pointless.

Anyways, as far as the 'professional' vinyl wrap job - did you REALLY post a picture of that shop and associate the word 'Professional' with it??? I've seen tons of vinyl wrapped cars, and they all have one thing in common - they look like shit. Too cheap and lazy to do bodywork, prep the car, and properly paint it? Just throw a sticker over it! It's the automotive equivalent to Adam Sandler throwing a newspaper over a pile of piss in 'Big Daddy' (or whatever shitty movie that was) in order to cover up a mistake. And as far as that shop, seriously? We've got shops like that all over the place around here in Houston, however they usually have a piece of plywood with "Fernando's Used Tires" out front - not 'Whatever Performance Shop'.

For reference, allow me to show you a photo of one of MY shops:
15dpb9y.jpg

Big difference, eh? You'll notice the absence of 'shit laying everywhere' and 'vinyl wrap'. Strange, huh?

You'd put up 'good money' that it would spank Ian's ass...on what kind of track? You HAVE grown up past the age that you realize that drag racing and drifting AREN'T real racing, right? Howabout this, I'll put any of the cars that I'VE built up against that sad little shitwagon, and I'll put even BETTER money up against it. Matter of fact, I'd put the STOCK MOTOR Porsche 997 that I just got finished putting a set of 'special stock' turbos back on, which - other than those turbos and the tune - is BONE stock, up against that Corolla. Shit, I'd bet you whatever your parents had to mortgage their house for that it couldn't even pull .8g with those 165's.

Another thing, what the fuck is 'Strickly'? What does that mean? Is that even a word?

But, of course, this was all BASED on the fact that no one who's car hasn't been on the cover of a MAGAZINE is supposed to talk shit...well, even though an untold number of things I've built, ridden, or driven have topped podiums, shattered records, and even conquered the Pike's Peak International Hill Climb, I guess I still haven't been on the cover of a magazine. There is, however, a good reason for that...the people who own cars like the ones I build are what we call 'grown ups', and those types of people could give a shit less if they make it on the cover of some wannabe 'tuner' magazine. Don't worry, though - you'll grow up one day. In the meantime, I'm sure all the other highschoolers will continue to drool over your 'Legit JDM Steering Wheel'.

Lol, noob.

thank you. now at the same time, im sure you understand the aspect of a $3200 toy, a "missle" so to say, which's sole destiny is to go out in a blaze of glory. explode, whatever.

i mean, how, and where else can you put $3200, and have a 200 hp rwd toy? and then give zero fucks about it, at the end of the day? only for it to swallow the next load of abuse when your ready? kinda like a slutty hooker thats fun, but free. the same shitty corolla you speak of. im glad another grown up realizes this. thank you for that.

Not gonna lie, I hope you stick around dude. How about I point you in the direction of the Members Lounge and you can create an intro thread?

and btw, "strickly business" is a parody mock sticker of a local "high end" car club.

dark in nature, and has the likes of benz, vettes, bimmers, and such on 26" wheels, neons, and enough compression in the trunk to reverberate city blocks.

pun with ebonics intended.;)

Not gonna lie, I hope you stick around dude. How about I point you in the direction of the Members Lounge and you can create an intro thread?

that'd be cool, but off the rip, i am not a honda guy in any aspect, worked on a few of dilbecks, simple stuff, but im an old school toyota head at heart.

Hey you're welcome here most people here don't drive Hondas anymore we could use another person with your no BS sort of personality, hope you decide to stick around.

and im actually interested to see what else of mine i might find on here......like dilbecks aatar of my gf's old hatch i built.

bahahaha... can we ban the retard now? actually, chances are he wont even show up around here anymore.. i knew he was a lying douche

7 more posts and you're a regular member.. stick around
