yeah, because BMW has no clue what they are doing when they use tape to mount the m3 lip spoilers... :roll:
 
If its like the silverados then the spoiler is just a small plastic cap on top of the tailgate. I am adding that spoiler to the 2006 Silverado when I can use my hand again (just had surgery). ON the Silverados its screwed in the bigger spoiler and its glued on for the small spoiler which is just a small plastic cap.
 
They aren't the type of spoiler you are thinking of. In the next week or so I'll put a pick of it on here.

I'm thinking of doing another project involving my tailgate but I need to get inside it.
I've got an 05 silverado so it should be about the same as your 06.

But for my project I need to get to the inside of my tailgate.
Someone told me under that cab the bed has openings all along the top, can either of your confirm?
