I just got a quick question, I drove into a lake and the front of my car was submerged with water. I cleaned out everything and finally replaced the ECU Comp. With one i bought from the factory. However now my mechanic said i need the ECU Comp. Code for it to works .. I don't understand why i would need to code nor never heard of such thing since i bought it from the factory. Anyways i need a little help and i'm pressed for time .. Its a 2005 Honda Accord LX 4 Cylinder engine .. Thanks

i think he might mean for the immobilizer. the new accords have a thing that will not let you start the engine unless the chip in your key matches the code thats in the ecu. to get that information, you have to call honda.
