I need to replace the middle bushing on my lower control arm in the rear of my hatch. I am having the same problem getting a couple of bolts out that i had earlier causing me to now replace those bushings. So my question is, Is there any way to remove and install a new bushing with the control arm still on the car??

short answer. no, you will have to remove the control arm from the car. you have to use a hydrolic press to get the old bushings out and get the new bushings in.

You can take your rear LCA's to Napa and have the bushings replaced in the same day. I would get the bushings first then take it all in at once. Drop it off in the morning. Depends though on how busy they are.
