To anyone who doesn't know, I am a mechanical engineer undergraduate at MSU. (I know Collin and Adam know) I currently am on the solar race car team. The team is tons of fun because we are building a car from scratch to go 70+ mph on freeways across country. (the team is new)

Along with that, I just got invited today to be a part of an undergraduate research program on the inherent stresses in silicon wafers, and the formation of Titanium-Nickel shape memory materials. It wouldn't pay anything this semester I don't think, but I was also offered a paying sumer job for the same stuff.

Both things will look great on the resume, but also the research program really nails my possibility of getting into a masters program at MSU. (Which I am thinking about in order to wait out Bush's lousy economy.)

So, I just wanted to say all this because I am really excited about this.

I would do whatever it takes to do them both.

Congrats, these projects WILL make a positive affect on your future.
