Resistor For Injectors? H22

i know when swapping a h22 in a civic you need some sort of resistor coil for the injectors. my question is why? and is it that the h22's use a resistor always? Or, do you only need some sort of resistor pack/coil when swapping into a civic?

also is it a coil type resistor?

The resistor box increases the impedence of your injectors. I'm not sure of the kind of resistor, but Injectors are either low imedence ~ 2 ohm or high ~ 12ohms the resistor make low impedence injector work with your ECU. BTW I have some injector resistor boxes $17 shipped.
