Rev limit kick in at 7K

I've got a JDM B16a2 in my 91 Civic. I can't rev the motor over 7K, and I'm getting a ECU error code of 22 (Vtec oil pressure switch). But my Vtec is engaging fine. You guys have any ideas?

99.9% of the people that say they cant go past 7k have something wroing with the wiring. check it even if you think its right check it.

Hmmmmm, why isnt my car running properly?
I have a cel, but why isn't it running right?
Fix the cel, then come back if it still isnt running properly, it's seriously common sense.

uhhhh, check the motor oil? thats the #1 problem with b-series v-tec engagement. low oil
