today i changed my fuel filter in my car...i unplugged the negative terminal for saftey...which reset my ecu...now i notice a loss of power high in the rpms and my car no longer revs to 9 grand..well idk if it does because when it gets past 7 grand it seems to loose power throughout 7 and 8 and takes forever to reach 8 from 7...i have a chipped p28..i dont know what happened...what could be causing this...i already reset my ecu and unplugged it...

Try taking your chip out of the socket holder and making sure everything is soldered well in place. Chips are known for this problem when they are not seated well your car will run to rich and will revert to a lower rev limiter.
