Reverse problems

    my friend has a 00 Si, and the car will not go into reverse, it will go into every other gear, does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

    did he put a new shift in or messed wit it ? when i did my swap i put the shifter in backwards and it was all fucked couldnt get reverse

    Shift linkage possibly hitting the exhaust?

    he has dc sports exhaust and also an egay short shifter so the clearance may be an issure, i will check it out here in a few min

    the shifter is in the right way b/c it has been in for about a month and no problems and just began acting up earlier today

    no luck, there is enough clearance, tried bleeding the clutch slave cylinder, no luck, any ideas?

    Have enough tranny fluid in the case and is it fresh? Otherwise... bent shifter fork?
