i twisted my plug wires around eachother so that they are in one twisted bundle. it looks clean and there is no slack between the twists and where the wires go in to the valve cover. rice or nice you make the call.

if you like it great
if you dont then why the hell did you do it
if your woried about people not liking it dont pop your hood

my oppinion = :gives:

there is actualy a reason for those plastic plug wire seperators. they keep the wires apart to aid in preventing crosstalk (a.k.a. MISFIRING). it might not create enough misfiring to notice, but it will rob your engine of power. the whole technology of spark plug wires is about preventing crosstalk and radio frequency interference (RFI). thats why racing wires have such thick silicone jackets, and why the wires are wrapped in a special way under the silicone.

damn sorry, i guess nobody cares. it was late last night and i was really bored.

I say put it back the way it came from the factory, if honda wanted to make a twisty donut out of their wires then they would have, but hey it's your ride.

Maybe you should get into the hair business instead of the car business. I also dont care, but I'm gonna say RICE.

i dont really consider it "rice" b/c its just something you play around with, he didnt buy huge ass wing and chrome 20's or something like that.

btw i am also tired of people calling shit "rice" because they judge most cars by looks, which is what rice is. ex. most people like the evo over sti b/c of looks, yet the subaru has a engine that can make pretty good power.

basicly people call anything they dont like , rice

so :gives:
do what you like
but if rixXxceboy is right and its gunna make you lose power you might want to reconsider

ok so the definition yall had gave it changed? the guy i dont like in the mustang is now a ricer?

To me rice isnt the car but the driver, sure if someone has a 40 foot wing on the back of a rex, its kinda dumb but if that rex just happens to run 11's or 12's then that slight thing can be over looked, however if the same wing was on another crx and the guy thought his car was the shit and that it could beat anything out there and really it was slower that a ford escort of the same year..... thats rice in my book. but if you like it and it looks decent, then go for it, but if its gonna make u lose hp then undo it.. thats my $.02

rice this rice that, you will never get a true answer except from the person who made that shit up. The first one to make such a comment. I beieve in the sport of car racing that all products should serve a function. While wings do serve functions, they don't if the car can't reach crazy mph's. Vinyl, I could care less if someone wants to clutter thier fucking cars with every damn logo of every companies product that is on the car. Little beams of light here and there, i can't stand at all, but then again it's not my ugly ride (this is obviously in my opinion). APC doesn't make quality products either does toucan industries, obx, hp racing, tenzo R, etc......I think that this word ricers has been thrown around at everything based on someones own opinion. I think we all need to start giving less attention to this and more onto our own cars. I agree with Esol on this :gives:

Alright now I am going to get all phyics on you. Any moving charge creates a magnetic feild. The way the metal holder are design probally try to absorb as much of the magnetic feild as possible. Now when you wrap them, your making an even bigger electro-magnet. This can affect the movement of the electrons inside the wires and cause misfires, delayed spark, ect. Just keep it stock

i wasnt stating a definition ... just an observation

as i understood it when i first heard of "rice" it was trying to "look fast" withough actually "being fast"

but that has somewhat changed now and people seem to call anything they dont like "rice"

personally i really dont give a fuck anymore
my preference is function over form (ie: i dont care what it looks like, as long as it works)
but i still do respect true originality, nicely done show cars, etc (its just not for me)
and all the people out there with the big flasshy bling blingin "look at me!!" shit all over their cars just gets that much more attention (police, thieves, etc) off of me... so fuck it
but dont think for a second i wont chuckle when i see someone pulled over for a 150db fart can exhaust as i float by at 80 unnoticed :)

I am into looks, and function ability with them. I mean if you car looks really fast but is damn slow, then yeah its not cool, but if you car looks fast and yeah can hold its own at the track, then  . I am currently trying to get a paint job and some rims on my car in the near future and yeah, it will look kind of quick for a while but will be just a regular si w/i/h/e for a long long time until the swap money shows up, so I am guessing I will be a "ricer" in a lot of people's eyes :gives: oh well, looks are pretty much everything in the scene until the hood is popped anyways.

My thoughts on form and function
Build power first.... then looks
Be able to back up your exteriour is supposidly saying.
