as others said, since it is multiple cars in the same family, it sounds like what ever station your going to has too much sulfur in their gas. Try using a diffrent brand.
The battery can do that and will continue till its replaced. No joke. I have seen it happen more then once, and it just hapend on my friends car and has also happend on my moms BF nissian sentra.
