I was reading the entirety of George Washington's farewell speech when I heard someone mention this in the office just now... That was a nice feeling. :)

Had Bush done this on Labor day the GOP might not have lost Capitol Hill to the Dems...

It looks like Bush did nothing. Rumsfeld stepped down.

Sounds like he said "Oh shit, it's going down... I better hit the triangle button before it gets worse!"

bush has reassigned all available CIA resources to finding the "EASY" button
this puts the search for osama somewhere between redefining the pronounciation of nuclear and finding god's direct phone number

You must have a poor understanding Silverchild, I dont think this would have helped the Repubs if it had come out right before the elections. Which is why Bush didn't speculate on it and said "Rumy will still be here" before the election.

I think you have a poor understanding of comprehension.

I didn't say he was fired. I said he probably stepped down on his own accord.

i.e. rats deserting the sinking ship, per my tags.

Oh I'm sorry, I grew up the son of a politician, been involved with the process well before I could vote, what could I know? Bush taking actions to change would show the public that change was already underway within the government, to many swing voters this could have helped them continue to support the GOP. Democratic approval ratings on Capitol Hill were as low as 10% in some polls, so why did they get elected? 65% polled said they wanted some kind of change in government. But seeing as how you understand this better then I I'm sure you've read up on all of that ^_^

Luckily the left is so far left anymore that they will utterly destroy their public opinion by the 08 Pres Election, Hildabeast won't stand a chance!

    That explains everything.

You do know that most of the Dems that were elected are so-called "conservative democrats" right? Dems who are pro-life, anti immigration and in support of the war. They want change, not a full 180.

but they will be headed by Nancy Pilosi (sp?), who is anything but a moderate. That will be the public face of the party. Her, Hildabeast, and that screamer that lost to Karry in the primary lol

No, we should definitely make all abortion legal (encouraged even!), immediately withdraw from Iraq, let all the immigrants in that we can, and give away all our money to everyone with their hand out.

    I have a headache.
