I plan to add nitrous to a turbo enine and need help on ideas/safeguards to protect the turbo system/engine from detonation and the sort.

Adding more nos, means adding more oxygen. you need a good fuel flow to match up with the air to have a proper combustion. get fuel components so you can tweak up the fuel. the least you can avoid detonation is not so much nitrous. you add a lot of oxygen by nos and turbo, thus creating more high quench which is a factor in detonation. it really depends on how much boost you are running. what i would do, is on low ends, butt in some nitrous to spool up, and let the turbo take it from there on. 1 second of detonation can kill you. it's a dangerous situation, unless you're an all out engine killing machine.
