It is fine to go cheap on your exhaust, It just sounds louder
Same with air intake. It just does not filter as good
CF hood, cheap ones just dont last and fit as well as the brand name ones.
However, Other then maybe making alot of noise, not filtering good, or flopping of the hood over 70 MPH, how does that affect the other people on the road? Not much.
Now lets think about the brake lines. Hmm, cheap ones VS Good ones. If you buy some cheap ones (only $40 less then normal) what are some down sides? Hmm, possible bursting? So how would this affect other people on the road? Mowing over a group of school children at a cross walk? What about that one lady in front of you that pounds on her brakes? Brakes are the one part of the road that you should never go cheap on. OEM grade or better. Make sure that the brand you get is well known, used in many applications, and has all the DOT and such certifications.
