saf rev limit for b18c1

    I have skunk 2 valve springs and titanium retainers and a stage 2 cam i was just wondering after the install how high can i SAFELY rev the engine and what can i use to raise the rev limit thanks

    rechip your ecu to raise rev limit, i dont think the cams will be making power past 9K so, somewhere between 9K-9.5K you should be just fine.

    can the bottom end handle the 9k or does that need to be upgraded also to get that high of rev limit thats basically what i am asking

    I believe that the gsr bottom can handle 9k, but to be safe it would be in your best interest to get pistons, rods, arp rodboltds and head studs. More than likely your bottom will be able to handle it up stretching past 9k always gets me nervous.
