hey I got bored today and decided to do a compression test on my car and I wanted to make sure that I have a safe compression

this is the one I'm using
http://www.northerntool.com/images/product/images/800507_lg.jpg

cylinder 1 160 +/-2
cylinder 2 155 +/-2
cylinder 3 160 +/-2
cylinder 4 165 +/-2

I was reading that it should be between 135 and 185 so I'm assuming that this is safe but i just wanted to check with you guys

thanks

yeah, thats fine. it's the variance you need to be worried about more than anything. you're all in spec.

Like B said, its difference between cylinders to look for. I wanna say its somethin like 10% difference is as far as you wanna see.
