secondary butterflies

need some info !! i'm running a 93 lude with jdm h22 swap and just wondering if there is any performance increase by taking out the secondary plates [ex. better low end better top end ] and what will it effect ,and reason for doing it any help is appreciated

Better top end, low end will suffer slightly. The power comes from not having the butterflies in the path of the air, thus making it flow a little better. The gains aren't amazing.
