Even with the price tag being very high, the cars been pretty much engineered to perfection, reviews say its been tested to run 180mph and maintain a in car temp of 72 degrees? whats not to like. It's pretty much a dream sedan, and has the price tag of one. Names, Phaeton, if I spelled it right.
dude, that car is pimp as fuck...just look at the interior...okay, maybe the exterior is a little bland, but mercedes and bmw's dont look wild either...plus, the 80g version comes with a 12 cylinder? god damn...i would sport it...i actually have seen one in person, and i dont think those pics do the car justice.
I'll rock a cardboard box with altezzas if it'll do 180. Styling has nothing to do with it. I think it looks "ok". Not blah, or great, but hey, a little customizing shouldn't be a big deal if you can afford the 80k price tag. <_<
I like it better than most of the new bimmers, I hate the new headlights BMW has. I think the trouble is, no one wants to admit that VW made a car that competes with Mercedes and BMW, they've always been an underdog so to speak, but this car really is nice. I guess you have to be doing 120 and have one smoke by you on the bahn to really appreciate it.
does this car come with a flower holder on the dash?
can we expect to see it in a 2004 version of herbie the love bug?
v12, very nice. im wondering what the automotive press has to say about this car and its styling. forget about the engine.....what do they say about the style?
Tony, you spout opinion and treat it like fact. Go stick your head in the sand some more. Yes, I'd grab the wheel and go check out a BMW and Merc, but you can bet your ass I'd give the VW (and Audis) a fair chance too. That new VW is beyond pimp. It's svelt. Very svelt.
