my wife got hit in her EX (hoping the ins. co. totals it so I get me some VTEC:D) so she has been riding/driving my hatch, she swears that it's "smaller" inside and I'm about 90% sure that the floor pans all the way to the back seat are the same.

    both cars are 95 civics

if I say so, ducking and hiding is in order:ph34r:

anyways we bought the car back for $308, VTEC for me!
doesn't even look all that bad just needs small work and an alignment, selling the shell to put towards her getting an accord 4 door.

Depending on the mileage of the car the cost to purchase a new hood, fender, and bumper and get it all painted and installed might be more then the Blue Book value, so that's probably why it was totaled out...

Let her sit in the back of the coupe, then let her sit in the back of the hatch. :)

    bumper
    hood
    fender
    headlight
    corner light
    alignment
    and then paint

    Stuff will add up quick
If someone has a shop estimate the damage and repair probably going to be at least 800-1200 and even more since the paint looks good. I'm even low balling it.

I was in shock when they said the salvage value was only $308, they want about $900 just for the engine at the yards around here, and thats IF you can find a VTEC engine there.

oh yeah, the core support is bent some too, but even with all that it still drives pretty nice, with an alignment you wouldn't even know it'd been hit.

Nope. Firewall deep = PWNT. Your talking bent "frame", bent motor mounts, and generally fucked up unibody everything.
