how can i tell if my lude is the base or if its an SH model?

i have read that the SH has body trim but so does mine and that the SH is only manual and has ATTS and the base model is Auto without ATTS. But my car has the techronic shift or semi auto (watever you want to call it) and i also see the ATTS light on the dash.

hmm and when i went to check wikipedia again for the vin page.... i cant find it. i swear they used to have one...hmm

well. again dude. you need to atleast search hondaswap. in the reference section, you would find...

... found the link to it in my favorites. I guess it no longer exists. you might have some luck with an internet archival service out there that archives tons of webpages. i tried the wayback machine, but it didnt have any good results. but here's the link incase you want to give it a shot locating it elsewhere

Look at the title. It'll say under trim. (Or it should.)

You'd think there would be a badge on the car somewhere. If not, it's probably not an SH. Also, the base model came with both auto and manual gearboxes...

my gf had a 01 SH, other than the badge on the back it had red stitching in the shift boot and the rims are different, dont know how to describe them but i've only seen them on SH's and hers was 100% stock

Yeah every SH i've seen has it on the right rear part of the trunk, "TypeSH" it says.

these are the rims

and this is the shift knob, i thought it was the boot but i guess its the red stitched knob that has it, and also know of another with the same gearbox as u described
