hey guys

i have a 92 civic hb, d15b7 with a man. trans. my air compressor is broke, and i cant the shift linkage pin out. ive tried a punch and a hammer, but it wont work, please help me.

might sound kinda stupid, but what I always use is a short 2-inch phillips head screw driver and stick it in there and whack it with a hammer really hard. It will eventually pop out through the top. Trust me, it works best. :D

if youre using a punch thats too small it will just spread the roll pin in the hole, its gotta be 8mm in size. ive found that a 1/4" drift(punch) and a 12 oz ball peen hammer work best. it wont just pop out, youve gotta beat it for a little while but it will go.
