Short shifter

    im looking into getting a short shifter but dont know what to go with. i've heard of dc sport short shifter adapter and also a forbidden short shifter. whats the difference? what would be the better way to go?

    i believe the adaptor is like a plate that sits at the base,how effective it is im not sure but must companies that mak em are cheap ebay-like companies, to to say that dc is one of them cuz they got good rep as far as i know. the short shifter is what you want, cant go wrong the, its a shorter shift shaft that aids in quicker shifting, not to say that it gonna make you a quick shifter all of a sudden cuz it really comes down to the driver, but it helps quite a bit...

    yea i heard of forbidden short shifter but i dont know where to find it. i searched and nothing. all that comes up are forums about it.

    yea i dont know why but most short shifters are hard to find onling, call ur local auto part store see if you can get a quote there

    You can find a bunch of them for either your Lude or Teg. And most are between $50 and $120. Some are more, but I don't think one that's $200 is going to be much better than one that's $100...

    i cant find that forbidden short shifter. does any one where i can find one?

    did you check to see if the company still exsists? maybe try yellow pages? im just guessing here...

    i have just an ebay short shifter(apc) and it works like any other short shifter,

    I don't like short shifters. My left leg can't keep up with the speed of my right arm so i just end up grinding the shit outta my tranny. I suggest testing out to see if you'd actually benefit from getting one...

    Me too, its just a piece of aluminum, its kind of hard to mess that up. I say just go with the ebay one.
